Weekend Visiter
Rob Cannon flew in for the weekend in his Kolb Ultralight that was originally hangered here at KGA. Now based on Salt Spring Island Rob was here for a little training, and as fate would have it, he was also here to enjoy our first ever movie night.
KGA’s newest arrival
KGA would like to welcome the Murphy Renegade of Sebastien, Peter, James and Frank. #34 off of the Murphy production line came in today from it’s old home in Kamploops BC. It will be a welcome addition to the Airpark.
Neil Steinhauser Solos
All of us at KGA would like to congratulate Neil on his first solo. Neil has really taken the flight training seriously and it has shown in his speed from first flight to solo. Well done Neil
TJ solos
After purchasing his Rans Airraile in Late Feb. TJ started to buckle down on his flight training. TJ took his first solo Earlier this month. (I just got the picture now). All of us at KGA would like to say “It’s about time TJ”, and well done of course!!!
1st Annual KGA Fly-in Movie night & sleepover
The first annual Fly-in movie nights this Friday and Saturday (July 25 & 26). Bring your tent, sleeping bag and BBQ and watch movies and visit with friends on both evenings. It is shaping up to be a great weekend. Call for more details 604 541 9964
Thursday Night BBQ
An impromto BBQ happened last night with or normal Thursday night get together. Thanks to Walter who provided 15 pounds of steaks, we all headed down the the trike hanger and ate until we could take no more.
