Mike Bowyer solos
Well we’re two for two here at the end of Feb 2012 as Mike Bowyer solo’d today. Well done Mike. He was so happy he actually allowed us to take his picture. (Like we were going to let him get away without it!!!!)
KGA Pilots first to arrive
King George Pilots were the first on scene when a 152 tried to take off on a sandbar yesterday.
The pilot from Pitt Meadows was unhurt in the incident. The same cannot be said of his airplane.

What a busy last day of the year, over ten KGA Based aircraft took to the skies an we had both a gyrocopter and an R44 drop in for a visit. We must have had close to 70 movements today.
