Great day at 1st Wings and wheels
A great day was had by all who attended the first annual Wings and Wheel motocycle Show n Shine. Whether they rode, drove or flew in all attendies loved the bikes, ultralight rides and liive music. We had over 200 motocycles to paruse.
Next years event promises to be even bigger and better.

New Hangers (Phase 1) now ready
Well after a lot of rain, mud and delays the first new batch of new hangers are now ready to have planes moved in. 
7 Planes go to Pender for lunch
The Vargas Island trip was unfortunaltley cancelled due to weather so everyone went to Pender Island and landed at Hasting Field for lunch instead. A total of seven planes and twelve people from KGA made the trip. If you’re interested in tagging along with the upcoming flights please watch this website and check www.milehighcustoms.com/forum (look at the King George Aviation thread) to look for planes with empty seats seeking passengers.

New Hangers now under construction
For those of you that haven’t been out to the airport in the last couple of weeks this is just a little note to let you know that the new hangers are now under construction. If you want to reserve your spot, please let me know ASAP as most have alreadt been spoken for.
Twin Otter to fly into KGA
I have organized a Twin Otter to come into the King George Airport and take us on a flight for 90 min. I need 16 people in order to make this happen.
Date: any weekend in late April early May
So if you would like to go on a Twin Otter flight out of KGA let me know. Cost would be $125 Per person.
KGA has a Beaver
It’s finally here. After months of negotiating we have secured a Beaver for our fleet. We should be ready to start it flying on monday. So for you ol’ timers who haven’t flown one in a long time, or you new timers who have only heard the stories of how much fun these planes are to fly, Book your flight now. Sebastien cannot wait to start flying.

Shayne Peterson solos
After a long winter of delays due to snow, floods, and fog, Shanye Peterson finally got a chance to aviate by himself. All of us would like to congratulate Shayne on his first solo. Well done.
