All of us here at KGA would like to congratulate Ian McPherson on his first solo. Ian only started his training on October first of this year. Looks like he has given himself an early Christmas present.

Michel Laberge solos and KGA gets another Father son team their wings
Michel Laberge got his first solo in on October 9th, thus allowing him to catch up to his son Phillip who solo’d a week ago. This is also the first time in ten years that KGA has had a Father & Son team solo within a week of each other. Well done to the both of you.
Andrew Solos and KGA gets threepeat
KGA staff would like to congratulate Andrew Yergatian on his first solo. After a summer of circuits he now gets to where the coveted I Survived my first solo T-Shirt. In addition KGA has now solod three teenagers in three weeks. A first for us as well.
Dave Blewett
On Sept 26th Dave Blewett took to the skies for the first time without the need of an instructor. Yes, Dave Blewett solo'd. On behalf of all of us here at KGA I would like to congratulate Dave on his first solo.

Our Youngest solo to date
All of us here at KGA would like to congratulate Philippe Laberge on his solo. At just Fourteen he is this years youngest soloest.

Dave Evans gets his wings
Dave Evans becomes our first Teenager of 2008 to solo, with his first instructional flight on the 28th of July, Dave completed first solo flight in less than two months.

Stan Pyzik Solos
All of us at KGA would like to congratulate Stan Pyzik on his first solo flight on Friday. It was just four weeks ago that Stan took his first flight. Well done Stan.

All of us here at KGA would like to congratulate Craig Sheridan on the completion of his first solo. After a false start last summer Craig came back to KGA this June to finish his Ultra-light Permit. It appears that this goal is now well within reach.

Despite some unforeseen thermals and head winds Trevor successfully completed his first solo without any hestiation.
