There are some exciting developments on the new SeaLoon from Seastar Amphibian! We are now In the process of retooling for delivery late 2009

We are builders of Amphibian Flying Boats, specializing in the customizing of a North American produced kit to each customers delight.
Produced in small quantities but with a very personal service-oriented approach, we like to call each customer a friend and treat them that way.
Seastar,s main operation, located in Squamish BC, Canada, a coastal valley setting between 9000 ft mountains and only a short hop to the ocean and mountain lakes, in a naturally spectacular area where you can come and stay on our property with your RV,when picking up your bird or as we are concentrating on the 49-51 concept, if you like, helping with the custom building of your Seastar with our builders assist.
Customer,s are welcome to stay in our 2 acre home/shop facility wile here, with skiing, golfing, sailing, wind surfing fishing,hiking or climbing, shopping or go sightseeing in Whistler or Vancouver, both only 45 minutes away, as an added benefit, maybe even partake in an Alaska cruise from Vancouver.
Photograph eagles, bears and many more beautiful things, but most of all, soak up Airplanes, talk Airplanes, fly Airplanes. . . especially amphibians. We’re just a short drive or fly to Pemberton where you can soar in a gliders or visit Pitt Meadows to go parachuting.
Once you’re here, you will want to stay awhile. We look forward to hearing from you.
There has been some changes in doing business and as the recession is effecting us as well as many other businesses, restructuring has become unavoidable.
We are more then ever committed in producing the best amphibian airplane possible and have decided to concentrate more on North American supplies, a bit more secure and easier able to drop in if necessary to be part of the process, without crossing oceans.
We will advise later on the changes in our latest airplane design, but our philosophy has remained pretty much the same, as to the functionality and afford ability with the North American customers size in mind and desire to utilize this kind of airplane to reach those remote places one can only dream of at times.
We always believed to be able to provide the best product in an airplane, that we can be proud putting the Seastar name on. Wilderness flying with high travel speed, but more then that, a quick lift off even in higher elevations, with the comfort of almost a camper necessary, if stuck in foul weather.
The safety of such an airplane, just like todays car with airbags, an airplane with a ballistic recovery system as an integrate part. If necessary to hoist out of a difficult situation, also having a build in lifting attachment ready at any time and that with all the necessary water/boat paraphernalia and folding wings, to store and to trailer easily, bringing the weight outside the Ultralight rules and into the 49-51-Experimental category, all that is needed should be included in our product offering .
Again embarking with your wishes and our longtime experience of over 10 years, exclusively in the amphibian airplane market, to be able to supply our clients, a revolutionize product into the otherwise somewhat stale market, with the latest thinking in what a true amphibian flying boat should be and not just ” The emperor with new clothe”.
